Road to 1,000,000,000!

CiviGuard was formed out of the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University. At the end of the program, the class was split into four teams and given a rather ambitious mission: positively impact the lives of a billion people in a decade.

Each team was forced to think big and inevitably our little unit gravitated towards the disaster response domain. We drew up some fascinating approaches to enhance response speed during disasters - but most solution were cost prohibitive or too volatile to leverage reliably in critical situations. We did understand that the future lay in the exponential growth of connected devices and the internet of things. That was the kernel of insight that led to the formation of CiviGuard and the basis of our mission: to build leading-edge technology platforms for the protection of human life in times of crisis. 

As of today - we have 999,994,500 people left to impact. It’s a start and we are sure that people the world over will continue to say “Got CiviGuard?” as they get exposed to what we can do!
